At Capital Podiatry we use the latest technology to design and make custom foot orthotics for our clients.
Custom foot orthotics are shoe inserts designed to support the natural shape of the foot, align the ankle and improve posture and foot function in general. We will prescribe orthotics to treat a range of foot, ankle, leg and lower back conditions including foot and heel pain, plantar fasciitis, running pain and morton’s neuroma.
If your feet and legs are in pain, we’re here for you. When you make a booking with us, our experienced team will perform a comprehensive examination of your feet and legs to identify any problems you may have and whether custom foot orthotics are necessary.
Special features of custom foot orthotics
- Soft full-length foot orthotics or 3D printed firm nylon shell, half-length and full-length orthotics are available.
- Soft leather or padded covers are available for your orthotics.
- Our orthotics fit any shoe type from athletic to dress shoes to football or work boots
- Our orthotics require minimal wearing-in time so you can feel the benefits of our soft orthotics almost immediately.
- Our orthotics last at least five years and if they start looking worn out we can recover them for $90 a pair to make them look as good as new.

Our proven process guarantees a perfect orthotic
Step One: Scan and Prescribe
20-30 minutes on-site at Capital Podiatry to create your custom prescription – precise to the nearest millimetre and degree.Step Two: Manufacture
Your shell is 3D-printed using innovative technology. The bases of your orthotics are first heat-moulded to the positive and trimmed to shape. All the custom features on your orthotics are added and your cushioning top cover is applied. The finished orthotics go through a final comprehensive sign-off before being cleaned and buffed to have them looking perfect for you!
Step Three – Fitting Appointment
After receiving and checking your orthotics to ensure they are exactly as we have prescribed, we trim and adjust the orthotics to get them fitting perfectly to your shoes at your fitting appointment.We Guarantee Our Orthotics
We are founded on our values and your satisfaction with our services. If you are not completely satisfied with your custom orthotics after six weeks of consistent use, we will replace, alter or refund the cost of your orthotics.
